The aim of the research project “Haemo Base” was to develop an analysis unit to be used in a hemodynamic measurement station in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. The use of the analysis unit was planned for various scenarios:
1. as part of a hemodynamic measurement station in the cardiac catheterization laboratory
2. as part of a combined hybrid solution with hemodynamic and electrophysiological diagnostic measuring station.
The development was implemented up to the prototype by seleon. All necessary documents were prepared to prepare and support the medical approval. Medical approval was to be prepared for the potential markets of Europe, USA/Canada and other regions of the world.
seleon had to create the design specification based on the existing requirement specifications and the results of the PANG project.
seleon created the design specification, which gave the customer the opportunity to decide which functional device design to use. Therefore, seleon gmbh developed the system design using step-by-step views of the system and its users. Together with the customer, it was worked out in detail.
By means of the detailed concept and the associated estimate of the development costs as well as the estimate of the production costs, the customer was given the opportunity to decide whether the complete system or parts of it should be developed or purchased.
