Improvement of medical networking
seleon GmbH joins the OR.NET association
During the year, seleon GmbH joined the OR.NET association to provide support in the development of software for medical networking. At OR.NET e.V., stakeholders from industry, clinical practice and research have joined forces to realize open and cross-vendor networking of medical technology in operating rooms, intensive care units and other areas of acute medicine.
As a member of the association, we are committed to establishing standards that enable the interoperability of medical devices and systems. In particular, we focus on the IEEE 11073 SDC (Service-oriented Device Communication) standard, which enables networking of medical devices and systems from different manufacturers in the operating room.
It gives us great pleasure to be able to make a valuable contribution to increasing the quality of medical care. In cooperation with the association, we are taking a significant step forward to jointly develop new and innovative approaches to networking in the medical field.
