Introduction

The software developed by seleon supports the anesthesiologist in guiding the patient through anesthesia. A two-dimensional display of the current and the predicted course of the anesthesia level based on patient models helps the anesthesiologist to control the anesthesia and achieve a better dosage of medication.

The system is operated via a touch screen with a turn/push button. During the operation, certain points in time can be marked on the display. This allows the course of anesthesia to be documented. The differences between the underlying model and the patient are taken into account accordingly.

The integrated database helps to find the appropriate models and to store patient as well as anesthesia data over the course of the anesthesia. Interfaces can be used to communicate with syringe pumps and exchange values. The recording of simple case records on a USB stick is provided.

Task

Development of software for the graphical display of the current and the predicted course of the anesthesia level based on patient models for better control of the anesthesia and achievement of a more accurate dosage of drugs.

Operation via touchscreen or with a rotary/push dial
Documentation of the anesthesia incl. marking options
